He gets some stick but I have a lot of time for Neville. He talks a lot of sense and has the benefit of actually playing in recent times with the people he's talking about on the pitch. On MNF tonight he was asked who was the star of the opening weekend. His reply? Laudrup.
Gary neville is one of the only pundits worth listening to, he has impressed many people with his knowledge and information, comes across as impartial 99% of the time and says it like it is
I also think he's one of the few worth listening to, really does have a good understanding of the game!.................
I've been very impressed with his neutrality, never really liked him as a player but as a pundit he's knowledgeable and much better than the dinosaurs on MOTD .but I'm not sure who came up with his new hairstyle ?
I hate Gary Neville , one of the most over rated players EVER !!.... I wouldn't listen to a word from him , regardless if it was something intelligent ... hate him !
he may speak the odd bit of sense but to answer the original question...yes, yes you are the only one
I would actually say he was one of the most underrated players cracker. You don't stay at utd for as long as him if you can't cut it, fergie has no problem moving people on if they don't meet standards, and utd were at their strongest when he was part of the team. Unfair IMO to say he is over rated
I really like him. Impartial and doesn't beat around the bush. C'mon if it were between him and Garth Crooks who would you really pick??
Rex Hunt and Bushy, now Im starting to feel old. Attacked!! did he get battered??? Back on Topic. I though that Gary Neville would get on my tits and be totally biased, but he has been quite good. Give me him over Hanson anyday.
Gary Neville is an absolute horror of a human being, an egotistical rat boy. Most pundits are rubbish and there should be a mass clear out and get some new faces in. Imagine watching Sky and them having someone like Peter Kay as co commentator ! They should have proper comedians on instead of the part time ones that they have instead.
I like Gary Neville also. He says it as he see's it without coming across conceited. At least he spent his career playing for one of the top teams in the world AND wnning medals. In my book he's been there and done it. So in answer to you original question : No All the posters who said "yes" are incorrect.
