prem squads seem to be getting sorted and some players have started to be loaned out already. So if the Maynard thing doesn't happen, I wonder if Warnock is going to get us a good loan signing from a top club. Warnock may yet surprise us all especially if this T/O does happen this week.
Brown should come in. With Brown, Diouff and Austin in the same squad, it will add a bit of bite to our squad (and yellow cards)
Agreed, Diouf was good but he didn't look like he could play 90 minutes. Gutted that Green's injured. After the Shrewsbury game I thought he was gonna turn out to be a poor player for us, but he was much better on Saturday before he came off, good passing and decent with ball at his feet. I'd prefer Thompson in. Don't you think that a midfield 3 of Brown, Austin and Norris is a bit static?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19317778 - One that I feel we could have went for on loan but it mentions that he is a central creative midfielder so I guess that doesn't fit into Warnocks plans
Ristac I think a lot depends on the relationship the borrowing manager has with the lending club. These players are usually lent out to get them some more tools, a different set of skills to add to their talents. Also remember that Bates has pissed off nearly every club chairman in the past, and Chelsea would no way lend us any of their players, especially after Bates took them to court over the 2 kids. The facts are that Warnock is recognised as a great organisor of defence and defensive midfield. If a top club want one of their kids coached in this area, and they have a relationship with Warnock, we'll get them. Don't think Warnock has ever been known for attacking flair players, as he's never had the cash .... Just my view
