Reflecting on a terrible afternoon at sweatbox Loftus Road and the poor emotional intelligence of Paddy Kenny: http://thisismyengland.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/one-disappointment-after-another.html
Kenny. Finished as QPR anything. Barton's first was ok but second unacceptable. I've stuck up for JB a bit at times until today. Must go asap. Grumpy Mon am though I am lucky (after a w/e such as this) to work in a pretty non footie environment.
I was only just making favourable comment about missing Paddy on another post and have now read this ................ I retract my previous comments about missing our former keeper.
A pair of arseholes, we knew Barton was one but Paddy undid two seasons effort and respect with his petty comments...
Very disappoited with Paddy, I'd love to draw "MASSIVE LEEDS" in a cup match at HQ he could very well regret his words
As most Rangers fans who have been on the board since Saturday will tell you, I haven't wummed here. Quite the contrary. But when the OP is also guilty of putting up this piece of crap I'm actually chuffed we stuffed you so stick that in your pipe. And an extra slap in the face for you. [Apologies to the non-racist decent Rangers fans] http://bit.ly/PLZ7aW A word to the OP: do some research on how we are in the PL before you mouth off in future. Nobody gave a flying **** when we almost went under, languishing in position 90. We are where we are because we've earned the right - just like you. Get the **** over it.
If you think that's "racist" your hair would stand on end were I to recount some of the things I've had said to me on visits to your lovely country.
"If you think that's "racist" your hair would stand on end were I to recount some of the things I've had said to me on visits to your lovely country." Yes we have idiots too but that's no justification and you know it. You're right though, it is lovely.
Not getting into this but if you think it's not you need to re-evaluate. Hate these arguments to be honest but taking the piss out of any group of people in this way IS racist, and I've said the same thing to my more rabid anti-English colleagues on my board. The article was offensive to most of us and that should be enough. You mocked us not because we're a poor side but because of where we come from. That's offensive. As for the Union Jack. Research your history before making facile comments, Imaz. Just like your little Englander mate. I've been one of the more conciliatory posters here from our board but that really got my goat. "Welsh interlopers in an English league" reflects a jaw dropping ignorance of British footballing history. Most Swans fans will tell you that there are few Prem fans that we get this nonsense from with one exception - QPR. It's pathetic. That aside, you say in the piece "mockers wanna mock" yet you did nothing except mock out manager, "Barca-lite" signings, and our style of play. What a hypocrite! No offence to the decent guys here but isn't karma ****ing brilliant. Have a good season
Make sure NEVER to laugh at ANY joke, film, TV programme, book etc. that uses tongue-in-cheek national stereotyping or manipulation of history as a humorous device. As soon as you do so you're po-faced position will be untenable. Careful now, you mustn't laugh at ANY group based on where they come from - so that includes Germans, Americas, the English gypsies, people from a different town just up the road, people from a different part of the same town, people who live in a different sort of housing to yours, people who went to a different school. Remember, even gentle satire and mild ribbing is not allowed.
I've just read the first bit of that article and I can safely say I won't be reading TIME's stuff anymore. I used to read every one of his articles but he's revealed his true colours. That username of his always did make me wonder a bit. Now my early intuition has been confirmed. KnackeredJack, I wouldn't go as far as to say its racist but what it is is very disrespectful. Nothing new on here if you were around during the Euro's. Some awful claptrap was put up throughout that tournament. Interesting to see Imaz having a go at little Wales. Very interesting indeed.
