Just had a txt saying we will be signing him from Celtic for 6 million this week. My mate is pretty good with news like this but cant see anything online Anyone heard anything? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ki_Sung-Yueng
There's an article in " The National " ... it's says 5,000,000 in it ...it also says 5 or so low to middle of the pack teams are on his trail

I thought I heard this on SSN this morning but given the hangover I thought I'd misheard it when it said Swansea at the start of the feature.
Being reported as almost a done deal on Sky Sports. We must be getting close to the limit on foreign players, surely?
He's the Allen replacement. Would be an excellent signing IMO. Mark Davies would be too expensive and has a history of injuries. This guy is 6ft 2 and a set piece specialist. Laudrup seems to be addressing our weaknesses methodically. With Ki and De Guzman we'd have 2 options at free-kicks and corners. If De Guzman is taking a corner we'd have the aerial threat of Graham, Michu, Ki, Chico and Ash. We've still got room for Hernandez. We've just signed 2 "home-grown" players this week. Will be interesting to see if he can shift 3/4 players out this week as well as bringing in Hernandez. We'll have a well balanced squad then. (weakest positions will be left-back and striker with the cover being; B.Davies, Jazz and Schecter, Moore, Michu) If we stay up, based on the evidence I've seen so far, I'd expect us to have an excellent squad at the start of next season. I'd certainly trust Laudrup with my money no matter which division we're in. Let's hope he's here for the full 4 years.
I agree, Terror. Laudrup seems to have a good eye for talent at the right price and he's becoming a dependable manager in that area. Hernandez would be the crowning glory if he could pull it off. As you say, it's then time to ship some out.
Then no offence to the guy let's hope he goes. We owe Scott big time for getting us up to the Prem but Hernandez is twice the player imo.
Everton, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic are also interested Ki Sung-yueng! Though Sky are reporting that we are in advanced talks, and pole position............... SKY Link: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8003570/Swans-move-for-Bhoys-ace
Well the latest rumour (yes I know) is that it`s a deal for £6 million with possibly Dobbie in the mix. So he`s (possibly) our first Asian player. Damn it, the things we have to do to keep up with the redbluebirdsdragons!!!!! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Bring in Hernandez & Ki sung-yueng , ditch Sinclair to pay 50% of the transfer fees for the two new players , then watch the window close
This could be one of our best signings, he is a great replacement for Joey..if anything better than him as he can drill them in from outside the box too. Can he cut it in the prem? Well he certainly gave Aresenal problems- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWeeJ4R6YU8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I confess I didn't know much about him LJ, but he looks like a very good player indeed. Can use both feet, distributes the ball well and can finish. Looks like a good fit for us. I was worried about his physicality - Asian players aren't noted for being robust but he looks like he can really handle himself. Don't understand your last post FFSDPITH. Sorry. Seems to me that Laudrup will have to lighten the wage bill and has stated his intention to reduce the squad size. Am I missing something?
