...congratualtions to you guys today - you may have lost - but blimey you gave them a scare!

Great performance from your lads - you look like you will give the league a good go this season.

Always liked Adkins as a manager, and Lambert - what a goal machine!

Anyway, well done, city isnt an easy place to go - as we found out at the end of the season. And like you we took the lead to make it 2-1 and narrowly lost.

Great start to your season. See you at Loftus Road and St Mary's later this year.

    You're absolutely right.

But I'm still so gutted we lost.

Thanks but now we need to play like that more often with less of the dropping back.

It will sure be a tough season for all the clubs down the bottom end of the table (and that includes us - perhaps not quite in a relegation fight, but lower mid table). It will be a close one.

I think all the promoted sides could stay up again - but I dont see one team struggling all season like Wolves for example.

You may be right, even Wigan looked good today apart from the first 10 minutes. Anyone could go down this season.

Well done Southampton. Good introduction to the PL and against Man city, who for the first game of the season we lost 4-0. Chuft when you went 2-1 up, as a Swans fan, always support the underdog. Look forward to playing you. <cheers>
