Man City 3-2 Southampton

Must say, the Saints look extremely impressive. Solid defensively, well organised, good build up play.

 

:O and I thought So'ton needed the services of Michael Owen

I hate Matt Le Tissier for a variety of reasons, however It's nice Southampton are back and look good.

 

Great game to watch. This year is going to have a great battle at the top and at the bottom of the league.

Pity they couldn't hold on, seems like it was a great game though, both sets of fans must have enjoyed it.

Odd to hate somebody that hasn't played football for over 10 years.

He spent his whole career with Southampton even though plenty of bigger clubs would have liked to sign him. You don't get that kind of loyalty very often.

 

he hates the north east and I hate him

he also cost us at least 12 points in the 90's

ok I dont hate him but he irritates me.

He was doing what he was getting paid for, what would you expect him to do? How would you feel if any of our players could do the same thing but didn't?

he is also unpleasant on the eye and it's a primal thing do judge because of it.

 

Got to say didn't give Southampton a pray for the season and thought they would lose 6 - 0 today but from what I saw they impressed me today.
