Thanks Mons, Talc Syd and others who have counter debated, you have made good, honest and valid comments that I will take on board.

I'm trying to be reasonable - I have had my moments too - when I do I man up apologise and keep my head down for a while - sort of a voluntary time out and try(stress try) to come back as a better contributor.

In the meantime I have Cheik/Anita on ignore.

Hope things are ticking over ok in York, lovely city to which I visit regularly - Maltings, Black Swan and the Last Drop Inn are favourites.

 

Don't get to much time for the social aspects of York atm due to circumstances but yeah it's a cool place..

Yes, I recall you have family commitments and your times is devoted too much more important things - yes we(as in I and others) do forget how lucky we are by comparison - and it puts what goes on here into perspective.

What I can't get my head around is having someone who persistently want's to spend 99% of their devoted time

MM, happened to be in York for a few days this week and visited quite a few hostelries, just to be sociable you understand. Have you visited The House of The Trembling Madness pub. Weird, eccentric, brilliant are adjectives that would not be out of place to describe this fantastic pub. Bit pricey but well worth it. Adjacent to the Evil eye lounge, pub is upstairs. If you try it get in early as it gets packed and only holds about 50 people.

 

Okay lads firstly as an ordinary Mod I cannot ban people nor can any other ordinary mod but, I am more than happy to delete posts if they are reported again report them. I will only delete posts off my own back if it breaches the forum guidelines (note the word guidelines) ie. racist, sexist etc.

 

Nice one Gil T, always after personal recommendations for pubs and this one gets some cracking reviews - beers sound similar to Brigands and the Three Legged Mare.
