Hes just a liar like Warnock. They tell fans want they want to here. Warnock turns up and says the fans are the best hes worked with and the says that at every club.
It's a bit like Ying and Yang, for every Lee Cook there has to be a Paddy Kenny. As a few have said here already, what goes around comes around, and I can't wait for Patricks next mare game ( 'cos we all know it will surely come sooner rather than later).
For me, the only ex-player who has the right to be a bit bitter is our top scorer last season, Heider Helguson. But he's not the kind to whinge and he'll do well for Cardiff.
Paddy showing what a classless idiot he is. Particularly when he was casting his line for bites, and then lost his rag when people reacted to him. I'm sure he could avoid the abuse by slowly falling out of the way of it as it passes him.......
These kinds of thread's make me so angry. Why is it that people laud our players and managers so much? They're all grossly overpaid human beings and utterly expendable. When some were constantly saying COLIN was still a *****r when he was with us and that Kenny was a fat bastard, people jumped down their throats with "how dare you criticize our players and manager, they're great people" and other such tosh. Then when they leave us they suddenly become pricks. Its like being with a bunch of innocent children looking up to their heroes on this forum sometimes. Its time people learned that the average football player is nothing special but just very lucky to be in such a privileged position. And a sizeable minority of them are complete tossers. As I've said before, I think its our duty to criticize and attack our players at every opportunity to keep them on their toes.
Sadly Paddy seems bitter about QPR (or the way he thinks he was treated). Why does he need to goad fans or be disrespectful? Our club supported him and gave him a way back into football. He also won honours with us and a chance to play in the Prem. He should not knock us because he wasn't good enough. We have moved on and so has he. End of.
Well unless this fella looks after Kennys kids, has access to the Leeds dressing room and at certain times of the day morphs into the exact likeness of the fat c***, I think we can be assured this is the real Paddy Kenny.
You actually make some very good points Swords. I think though, what upsets a lot on here is the fact they Kenny could of kept a dignified silence instead of the piss taking and goading that he has decided to partake in. We found almost to our cost that he wasn't good enough for the Premiership and IMO needed to get in better. Now it's open for debate whether Green us better BUT the disrespect shown by Kenny to his former club is, again IMO, unforgivable. But again as you most rightly say, a sizeable minority of footballers are compete tossers....and Patrick is a very good example.
Spot on mate. He's shown himself to be a right plank indeed. Lets hope Green gets his sh*t together and can prove he's better than him.
Yeh, quite true Swords. Paddy did great for us in the Championship, and was our Player of the Season if I remember right. We should remember that before having too much of a go now. While he was mediocre last season, I can't blame for being frustrated at losing his place to a complete nervous wreck!
I won't change my view on someone just because he now plays for us. Or does that only apply to Barton?
It's a natural human reaction to feel a bit aggrieved after being sacked for being inadequate for the job. Some just forge on, some indulge in schadenfreude if the opportunity arises - and it sure did yesterday. Neither NW or Paddy are having a go at the fans (though Joey might, if he's been reading the boards). I'd be pleased to see either of them again. They did well for us.
You're a far better man than me Goldie. I hope Kenny let's in 6 goals per match and Warnock gets sacked by Christmas. And if they ever come to LR again, I will be booing, jeering and goading them both at every god given opportunity.
I shan't mind if Paddy lets in a few goals or a massive team like Leeds struggles under NW's stewardship, but I'd still buy either of them a beer if they came down to the Bush. I have good memories of our Championship winning year. It's part of QPR history.
exactly. as a football fan you have to take the rough with the smooth. And with TF at the helm - days like this wont happen often i am sure.
Kenny was great for us in the Championship - but he is not good enough for the prem at all - he was at fault for loads of goals. Disapointed to see him refer to QPR like that - but ultimatley he wasnt good enough for us for the prem, so we let him go. What goes around comes around Paddy.
