I would be very [pleasantly] surprised if Johnson ended up at Sunderland..

Would be amazing if we got him. Larson in the middle with Catts or Colback and Johnson, McClean and Sess in front. Just got to get a quality striker and a couple of defenders in and we will have a really strong side.

Would show ambition from our club and to attract a player of AJ's calibre could be the catylst to bring other similar quality players in.

Get here AJ and become a legend.

Rumours about Everton being in for him too but unless they have suddenly come into alot of money I want see them splashing out 10m on a player especially if they sign that striker they are after QPR 6m. They'd be limited to a loan I reckon.

    Who else then?

Fulham, especially if/when Dempsey leaves. Reckon he'd choose them over us

    Aston Villa?

Tottenham are in for him, which makes life very difficult for us now.

    Here is AJ's problem.

He took the money over us last time and his career has stumbled. He missed out on the Euros because of it.

If he goes to Spurs he will be playing for a numpty who could play around with his career again.

If he signs for us now, and has MoN managing him, he could easily become a huge player in the forthcoming World Cup squad as a regular player and scorer.

Whichever he chooses he will be richly rewarded in monetary terms but only with us will he be given a first team berth and regular football.

The choice is his now. Will he make the right one this time.

as long as we get him up here for talks I will be confident

all MoN has to say to him is look at what I did with Downing and Young

He will be one of the first names on the team sheet and he will play everyweek

at Spurs he would not be guarenteed that, Bale will play everygame on the left then on the right he will be competing with Lennon and VDV
