The New Boys

Thanks lads! wasn't expecting that result to be honest, so was on cloud nine, when we scored the 5th, maybe a bit more respect from the QPR boys now aye!! Can't wait for MOTD................

Hey, Phil, hope you are feeling better. I bet that result perked you up no end. Totally agree that the new boys were great (and the "old" boys as well); mind you, it is August, hot and sunny so they all felt at home and played like it.

What an absolutely fabulous win. Now we have to make sure that we consolidate it by beating West Ham. Do that and the confidence boost will be huge. Imagine adding Pablo Hernandez to that mix. The great thing is, it should really encourage him to come.

 

Ivor'sman came through with flying colors his first managed game . What a footballer , , what a manager , what a scout , what a man !!! . And his " New Boys " played as good as he managed !!

 

I think the new guys have more class than we give them credit for. Took them about 20 minutes to get warmed up and the rest is history.

Swansea City launch 5,000,000 transfer bid for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng ,23 , from South Korea . Lots of interest in this guy

 

I think an important factor is that none of the new guys are 20/21... they are experienced in top leagues. I would be more concerned if they were younger.
