    I was watching him after the goals and he did nothing, no talking, no geeing up the players.

    Trouble is our only captain material have a combined age approaching 70!

    Just listened to Hughes on BBC's online news. He said all the right things and was suitably embarrassed.

    He said, "We'll do better next week". I believe him.

    A very bad choice as captain. Great commercially......terrible on the pitch (where it counts!!)

    I'm new to this forum so hi to all.
    The worst player on the pitch today was (for me) Fabio who was constantly out of position - does he think he's too good for QPR?

    Yeh, another huge mistake by MH, Park is never a captain, like Green is a nervous wreck not a keeper, and like we desperately need top CB's and DCM's and not wide midfield players, full backs and more back up players.

    Clint is the best captain we have, but he should have waited anyway until 31/8 before appointing the captain for the season - he ought to be signing this man by then as a CB or DCM.
