Agree with that but Id have a broken wrist by the end of the game, they should do what they do in the US and have the stewards hold them back and only allow then back to their seats at a break in play.

Where I sit in Ellerslie, there'd be so much slapping, it would sound like applause

Me too - loads of Koreans staying to take photos on the edge of the pitch too, until a senior steward ushered us all back home!

I've managed to stay away from all technology so I wouldn't know the score...and I was tempted to turn off and go to bed, so can't blame people for walking out at 0-4 down...just shocked...

Agree. You shoudn't be allowed to leave before the end- bad for the team and bad for the people still trying to watch. I never have and never will leave before a game is finished.

I hope that was ringing out of the upper loft...'6-5, we're gonna win 6-5!' Having read how frustrated those that went are, and how bad we were, I doubt it though.

This is not new. I go with about 6 - 8 of the same friends - I am the only one who always stays to the end. This is regular conversation. They have been walking out whenever we are down with 10 mins to go - esp when the opposition blasts one in in last 10 mins. They get upset and emotional and claim early cars drive or quick beer - I get to gloat in the game where a Mackie or Ainsworth - or Furlong - Brighton away 6 years ago ish? - score in the last few mins and they miss the whole point of going to the game. I think I generally the more smug for staying to the end - cause those few games when we turn it around in the last few mins of injury time are the sweetest..... it is a sign of winners and a mentality that you play to the whistle - Old Traford know all about this - but to slag those who leave off is unfair - their loss - their ticket

Agree. That's one of the things you learn. The last 15 minutes of a 0-5 thrashing sorts the men from the boys

Unfortunately fans have little way in showing their displeasure but this is a clear way of show your not happy, but then it was pretty clear yesterday that nobody was happy.

I have only ever left a game early once - and that was away to Watford a few yeard ago when we lost 3-0. we were shocking all day, and I left at 80mins - the only reason was becuase we would have to wait another hour for a train home if we had stayed till the end.

But whilst I can understand peoples frustrations and wanting to show their displeasure, I will always stay to the end - I did last season when we lost 6-0 and 6-1 and again yesterday. But I didnt clap the players off the pitch - as soon as the whistle blew I got up and went. The players didnt deserve a clap.
