Well done on the win but if Pardew did shove the ref he needs a heavy punishment. That is disgraceful behavior. We want there to be respect in the game, that's not the way to do it.

yes he did shove the linesman...Think it happened in the heat of the moment, and the linesman was unfortunately in close proximity... Sometimes during the instant where you are livid you will cause some significant damage to whatever's nearest to you, and for pardew's case the linesman just happened to be the closest person/thing there.. It's definitely wrong to do that, and the ref was right to send him to the stands.. But that should be the end of the story imo

 

he'll probably get a three match touchline ban or something - wouldn't a player get something like that for such an offence (they would be sent off ...)

as for the game, great to get off to a winning start and see Ba and Ben Arfa on the score-sheet

 

Two months ago i stated in my analysis on Anita that his best position is CM, RM, his defensive skills are up to par but nothing special which makes him suitable for the LB, RB and DM position but in the EPL is not preferable for any manager.

Anyways, for those who like some more footy action:

The negative is Pardew's moment of madness, why did he have to be a tit like that? Hope he doesnt get hit with a long ban, but 5Live 606 are banging on about the incident rather than the NUFC result. ****ing sick of these media bell ends.

Can't condone that behaviour, it was a minor shove but still wrong nonetheless. Heat of the moment, he's apologised straight after, still needs to be punished, a fine should be enough, a ban would be too harsh imo.
