Taking you's aren't half looking forward to this game? I predict a good match in all honesty, I reckon at each other's throats for 90 minutes with you's either winning 2-1 or us scratching it 1-0 Either way, Saturdays are back to normal!
I don't think we should ever underestimate any team. But I'm excited about seeing our new look team today. I just hope we see a proper DM in that team soon too though. If Song goes, we definitely need to replace him.
Saturday's are back to normal fella At last If you don't mind, I'm going to merge this with the match day fred
Alright mate, was just over on your board but couldn't find a match thread, what's going on over there, have people deserted the place?
I don't think we comfortably won more than about 2 games last season, i fully expect to have to fight hard for a win again today. We need to get off to a good start considering the games we have coming up, if not we'll be out of the title race by october again
Aye it had died of recent due to the wumming from the scum up the road, lots of bans and people leavimg recently A shame tbh
i'm hoping we get off to a good start today, to shut the doubters, as well as the critics, and to give a feel good factor after that **** RVP left us.
Still sticking by my original 2-1 prediction that I made before RVP and Song fcked off. I read an article that showed us as the second best opening day team, narrowly behind Chelsea. We also had the best opening day goal differential.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla, Walcott, Gervinho, Podolski. Substitutes: Mannone, Djourou, Coquelin, Santos, Ramsey, Arshavin, Giroud
I can't wait for Jack to come back and hopefully for Sahin to sign for us. Seeing Diaby's name anywhere near Arsenal does not inspire me with confidence at all.
This could be a good game for him if he is up for it. Sunderland's midfield isn't exactly tall and powerful, he should be able to over-power Cattermole.
Diaby will be extremely humble right now, I fully expect him to grab this opportunity with both hands and put in a decent performance, he knows it's his last chance at the club, if he spends the majority of his season injured then he will be off next summer. I can guarantee it.
We'll just have to wait and see. Unfortunately, I'm sure it won't be long before he limps off (of course I hope he doesn't). One can only hope. But then again, he'll probably have the best season of his career and go off to one of our rivals. That seems to be the Arsenal way as of late.
I bet Sunderland field a ****ty right back who'll end up playing semi-pro football soon but in one of his few premiership games he snaps Diaby's leg.
Sunderland's team. Mignolet, Gardner, Richardson, O'Shea, Cuellar, Larsson, McClean, Cattermole, Colback, Sessegnon, Campbell.
