Has gone on loan to the cherries until the new year...... Will be good for him to get some games and I think he will do a good job for them.
Pleased for him...didn't want him stuck in the development group. Hope it goes well...decent side (choke).
Find it funny that now we are back in the Prem we are doing them favours by loaning them our squad players again. When we were in league 1 they hated us!
Great news. I was hoping we'd loan Barnard to them last year, to help them out, so I'm very pleased to see it happening this year. It would be great to see Bournemouth back in the Championship, and Barnard (hopefully) getting first team and (hopefully) scoring goals again is an added bonus.
Bournemouth fans seemed desperate to create a derby, whereas most Saint's fans didn't care about them
Indeed. And to be honest, I didn't really blame them. They can hardly class Poole as a local derby. That season was a very rare opportunity for them to have some sort of derby. Often all alone, often the lowest/worst of the three Solent clubs. As annoying as it was, I understood and accepted it.
Go on Barney. Get a hat trick vs the skates! Never stopped liking Bournemouth, despite as few of their fans supposed anti Saints stance.
Glad he's joined Bournemouth. Good move for him and Bournemouth have got themselves a very good striker for the level they're at.
With Forte and Barnard away should see more of Isgrove, Hoskins, Sinclair, Rickard and McQueen in the U21 premiere league. Wonder if Hoskins or Rickard will go on loan? Plenty of options still. Competition for places can only be good one hopes. Hope the club stick to their vision and some of these these striker/wingers get a chance in the cup matches for first team appearances.
Pompey will try and lose this because after all the JPT isn't worth winning, is it? Well, at least according to them. We loved it.
Saw a tweet from Jamal Branker saying the boys have beaten Sunderland 4 3 today presumably the Under 18's although the Under 16's went there as well.
