    Seems like a good lad with strong ambitions for us – also brilliant for settling in quickly that he speaks such great English, very impressive.

    Also it's nice to read De Boer's comments about Newcastle, which is never easy to be so gracious when you're losing a player you'd rather keep.

    But especially after the bizarre bitter rubbish spouted by certain numpty supporters of other clubs recently, it's nice to read quotes from more informed people about the reputation and size of our club.
    Those in football have the opinions that matter, and ask any one of them and they'll tell you how big and important NUFC are – and what a big draw it is to play for us throughout world football.

    Much of that is down to stadium/fans over trophies, granted, but it also cannot be disputed that Newcastle have contributed vastly to the Premier League's history and played a HUGE role in establishing it as what many regard as the most exciting league in the world.

    We've never been a club content to just make up the numbers and clog up the table like some others...

    <laugh> Love it! Anita seems like a good lad (and his English is far superior to my Dutch, so I'm not going there).

    At this rate, he might be straight into the team with 'doubts' over Tiote, Cabaye, Colo, Ba, Cisse, Sammy + HBA.

    So how are things over in the Netherlands Cove?
