Nice article just dont agree with the predictions. Its by far the most open and competative league of the 4. I dont think anyone will be able to say with any degree of confidence who will be the top 6 until March at least. Just enjoy the ride as its gonna be a bumpy one. We all know who were the favourites last season and what happened in the end.

    Good luck anyway.

I agree with all that you say about Hull. It is always a tough league and with the teams coming up/down and the strength of the teams already in the league it will be no different this year. I personally agree that Hull could finish as low as 11th with all the other teams capable of mounting a serious promotion challenge. However I feel our squad is also well capable of challenging for the automatic promotion spots. As ghugill says, a lot will depend on our ability to score. Yes we have strengthened but so has every other team. It may take a while for players like Proschwitz and aluko to settle into english football and they may not have the effect we hope he will! I think there is more chance of us reaching the top 6 and pushing for the top 2 than a lot of teams mentioned before though. UTT

Championship is clearly the toughest league in football top to bottom, year in and year out. Still, I don't understand why many claim that the 3 relegated Prem clubs and the 3 promoted League One clubs improve the league. Will Bolton, Blackburn, and Wolves be better sides this year than Southampton, Reading, and West Ham were last? Likewise, Charlton, Huddlesfield, and Wednesday over Coventry, Doncaster, and Portsmouth (though I can see the latter as Pompey is a stinkin' mess)?

I would say Charlton, Wednesday and Huddersfield are all more impressive outfits than the 3 relegated clubs.

Well the 3 relegated teams totalled a massive 1pt out of 9 pts and the 3 promoted teams totalled 2pts out of 9 points which is 3 out of 18 points.

You may have a point. Buts its early days. Lol.

QPR nearly got relegated the season before he got them promoted!

He got promoted with Scarborough,Notts County, Huddersfield,Plymouth,Sheffield United and QPR

My guess is you just don't like Warnock so pretend hes not a good manager but he is by far the best manager in this division and if the takeover goes through I'd say Leeds have a great chance at 6th at least.

Of all the managers in the league at the moment, Colin does have the best record for getting teams promoted, though he looks out of his depth in the Premier League. If you had to pick the manager most likely to take a team up, I'd suggest it's him, though ideally, he be sacked the minute he'd pulled it off.

Couldn't agree more. I hated the guy before he came to Leeds but a lot of the Hatred came from Jealousy!
