Just to wish you good luck for tomorrow. You are gonna need it with that clueless fat geordie bastard as your manager.
No doubt we'll also see your ****e, deluded fans show yourselves up again- blubbering on the telly & radio. I wonder what the pathetic displays will be like to being midtable and doing nowt all season, while the Geordies do better than you again.
Well, wait until you have had a few months of his management. The bloke is tactically clueless and you will be watching the dullest games you could possibly imagine.
I see MON is reported to be frustrated at the lack of signings made this summer. Do you think he'll walk before the start of the season like he did at Villa?
With just Cuellar and Saha as new signings things dont look great for the mackems and they kick off @ Arsenal. MON will walk imo if he does not get some players in soon. His reputation is most certainly on the line. I would suggest Sunderland need more luck than us. At least a home cup game with Morecambe offers them some respite.
Out of interest I had a look at former sunderland managers - considering they have had to put up with Wilkinson - so whether Sunderland fans know how to judge a good manager must be hard when they've had some real dross, and Bruce also has had a higher percentage of wins than they had under say Niall Quinn. Anyway if MON leaves Brown is always free to turn you into a laughing stock
Not only was it Wilkinson, but Steve Cotterill was his assistant. No wonder they failed miserably. Must have been a hoot in their dressing room that season.
Wait until tomorrow he might play with no forwards at all and just out of interest I would like to know if he continued what he did at Sunderland. He used to bring everyone back if the opposition had a corner leaving no one upfield hence if it was cleared it just came straight back again.
I don't get the MON hype, he plays hoofball, employing quick forwards who fall over when a defender approaches, they then roll. around until a referee gives them a free kick out of embarrassment. Frazier run before you become the next Agbonlawhore.
He's made a big fuss already about us not playing with enough strikers last season and seems intent on playing 4-4-2 all the time. On top of that, the only goal we've conceded so far this season came from a set piece where we left 3 men up on the halfway line.
I'm pretty sure Bruce was doing a good job at Sunderland before money sucker Asamoah Gyan decided to ride the Club for what it had. I've never seen him be tactically clueless TBH.
