Three of the eleven are ours...

GK David Marshall (Cardiff City) - "A very safe pair of hands and will keep plenty of clean sheets"

DF Liam Rosenior (Hull City) - "A very solid, consistent right-back who also loves flying up the wing to pose an attacking threat"

DF Mark Hudson (Cardiff City) - "A solid centre half and a big reason why Cardiff will be so difficult to beat"

DF James Chester (Hull City) - "Was fantastic last season, picking up Hull's player of the season and will only get better this time around."

DF Stephen Ward (Wolverhampton Wanderers) - "An extremely versatile left-back that can play almost anywhere on the pitch"

MF Chris Burke (Birmingham City) - "With 14 goals and 19 assists last season if he is in the same form this year the Blues won't be far away from promotion"

MF Robert Koren (Hull City) - "With 17 goals from midfield last season, he's not only a goal scorer but great on the ball and a huge threat from distance"

MF Peter Whittingham (Cardiff City) - "One of the most comfortable players in the league, if he's not scoring himself there's a good chance he'll be setting up a team-mate"

ST Craig Bellamy (Cardiff City) - "The most high profile addition to the Championship this season and rightly so. Lethal on the wing, he's sure to provide assist after assist for his team mates and contribute with a fair few goals too."

ST Charlie Austin (Burnley) - "Despite his phenomenal goal scoring record at Swindon and Poole Town, Burnley still took a risk by bringing him up a league. Austin certainly repaid the faith shown in him with an excellent debut season"

ST Marlon King (Birmingham City) - "Finished with an impressive 18 goals last season and I have no doubt he will better that tally this time around"

Did anyone else miss Robert Korens other 7 goals last season ? I could have sworn that RK only got 10 goals.? :emoticon-0104-surpr :emoticon-0112-wonde Cardiff have 4 and we have 3 players.

Other than that i agree with 9 of them. Marshall and Austin ? hhmmmm Better options imo.

We may have played our joker on some of Robbies goals mind last season. Double bubble and all that.

He's picked a dream team with 2 wingers and Koren in the middle on his own. Kevin Keegan is on his way round to tell him he might want to consider the defending a bit more.

It's weird how, as a team, everyone thinks we'll be closer to a relegation battle than a promotion chase, yet they're really kind about our players individually.

Chester I definitely agree with, he's the best defender in the Football League if you ask me, and better than a lot of defenders already playing in the PL. Rosenior is debatable, Nathaniel Clyne was accepted to be the best RB in the division for a while but with him gone to the PL now I imagine Rosey is one of the best remaining.

With that defence ALL out attack should be fine. Maybe Keegan has a better GK and striker in mind ? :emoticon-0116-evilg

Ah it's for a fantasy football competition, in that case.

It's actually a good team for it. Defenders from teams that don't concede many, 3 midfielders who are good for goals and assists which usually score more in these things than clean sheets do, and a couple of strikers that should be dependable for goals. Not sure about Austin mind, maybe selected last and was the best he could afford in the budget.

Someone sulking because no Leicester players are in? I don't think you can argue against having Chester and Koren in there. Not sure on the choice of Austin though, would have gone for Emnes or Kevin Phillips to be honest.

Don't know what your definition of sulking is....but putting a <laugh> might give you a hint... Is cotterill in a job? no....Im more than happy to be out of the spotlight..thank you..thats half our problem.... there is no doubt ..hull have by far the best defence in this league...no danger <ok> ps. and the best midfield...and a lethal strike force...can't wait for the huns first goal <ok>

You'll regret saying that if all he does to start with is set Fryatt up and then his first goal is the winner against you.

Good side. Having three City players in there can be easily justified as we had the 2nd best defence last Season, so 2 defenders from that makes sense. Koren is always dependable on scoring from 16+ yards into that bottom corner.

But all players in that side are pretty much who I would have picked. Don't know about the strike force though. I would have maybe put Darius Henderson in.

Out of the spotlight? You're the bookies favourite to win the league, same as last season.
