I get the impression that Arsenal and Wenger will not spend stupid money like the other top clubs, to win the prem. They have a wage structure and are the only top club that make a good profit, whilst the others lose money each season. So I applaud their stance and players like RVP and the rest who will go anywhere for more wages are a bunch of greedy twats. Will AVB live up to his hype at the spuds this season? he was a failure at Chelsea so why will he do any better at Spurs. Foriegn ownership of football clubs doesn't always work out, hence the problems at Pompey and i wonder if they will survive. Will Delph make an impression this season, or should he have stayed at ER another season to learn his trade. he should be back and injury free this season. Since the sad loss of Gary Speed who had got the Wales team playing good football, and getting results. Coleman has managed to take Wales backwards because he's a tosser no-mark manager, so why did the WFA give him the job
RVP was good business for Arsenal in my book. He's had a couple of stellar seasons, but is injury-prone and 29. If Man U get three good seasons out of him and win the league then it was worth it for them, but Arsenal now have the cash to invest in younger players which Wenger is usually good at. I doubt AVB is going to do any better at Spurs, not least because the players are all Harry's men and it will take time to change the squad that much. I don't think he'll get the time. Two seasons then out. Looks like Pompey are being acquired by the Supporters Trust which can only be good for them. They still have a big fan-base for a L1 club so, if they get through the current situation, will be okay. If Chainram (spelling) had got hold of them again I would have expected the worst. Delph hasn't improved significantly so yes he should have stayed, but as usual, this was Bates flogging anyone who had a price tag. As for Coleman. Who else was going to get the job? But I agree, he's a poor manager.
