Not bothered where he plays really, thats the managers problem. Not sure why we need to select the team for him. We will need a big squad this season anyway. Look how many games Guthrie played for us last season without us being in europe and he played a big part too. I see Anita as his replacement but far more versatile and lets face it Ben Arfa wont play at all this weekend, nor will Samiobi, Cabaye unlikely to play a full game and Tiote highly doubtfull so plenty of space for young Vurnon this weekend at least.

I hope he will play mainly in midfield. It is a long season fella, and we will have a very busy schedule. I doubt he will be starting Saturday, wouldn't surprise me if he got a run out at the end if we are doing well. Hope to see him start Thursday

Have to agree with WP, that he may well go in at LB, with Santon switching to RB. It's a nice option to have because it means that we are not hostage to Simmo playing the disinterested game we saw recently.
Also if he stays, he's gonna have to wake himself up, as there is genuine competition for places.

I can see us going 5 in midfield to stifle Spurs midfield. Anita and Tiote in the middle, Cabaye as an advanced midfielder. That's provided he plays at all, and there are no Tiote/Cabaye injuries to worry about. Thankfully language shouldn't be an issue, most Dutch people have flawless English.

Okay here's some enlightment on that subject:

Most Dutch speak English, albeit it's more like Dunglish, google it for some laughs.
About half of the Dutch population speaks German as a third language. Aber nur war da ganz nichst so wie gut, durch kann die meisten Niederlander Deutsch doch gut verstehen. My German is ****, never paid attention in class.

I agree with Nevfur - the key thing is Anita will offer Pards more player options / formations / tactics to consider and will allow more flexibility to adapt from game-to-game or even during games. All good news to me.

Supposed to be good for the complexion, maybe Tash should start bottling it.

    I just had a thought....
I think Anita has been brought in as the 3rd quality CM in the team...

On specific games, AP could play this 4-3-3 where we have...

    Back 5

    Anita Cabaye Tiote

I can see we might rotate the front 3 of a 4 - 3 -3: put Ba between say Jonas and Marv, and Cisse between HBA and Obertan. It might be a way to stretch two starting strikers through a long season
