Why are we looking to spend multi-millions on a journeyman like Fletcher when we could get a natural goal-scorer like Jordan Rhodes at a fraction of Fletcher's price??Good enough to score for Scotland tonight, and good enough to score for Sunderland next season IMO!!!!

Agreed that Rhodes has massive potential... But... Bendtner is Prolific for Denmark but in the premier league he looks like he can't hit the broadside of a barn..

Rhodes would cost in excess of £7m or £8m imo, as they have already turned down £5.5m from W Ham and they will know we have cash to spend.

I fancy the kid would do well but I think Fletcher is worth £12m and far better physically and has experience of the top flight.

And did they tell you this personally? If you have such close contacts with Moxley why didn't you say earlier and maybe your insight could have saved us all fretting?

Or are you simply quoting the daily ****e rags that haven't a clue either?

You see NONE of us except Moxley, Fletcher (I'd guess), Short, Byrne and O'Neill would be privy to that sort of info. Nobody actually knows outside these circles what we have bid at all do they. For all you know we may have bid £5m and they are asking £!5m. That's how negotiations go and somewhere in the middle ground you reach agreement. We may now be at £8m with add ons and they at £12m with he same. Fletcher has asked for a transfer now which muddy's the water a bit and kind of leaves him and Wolves a bit ****ed going forward together. We on the other hand cannot lose here, as we will either get him for what we want or simply buy someone else and go again in January, when the relationship between the player and Wolves be be rock bottom and their season has faltered completely. Moxley has gambled, nowt wrong with that but he is feeling the strain now and will Wolves fans be happy to see a pissed of Fletcher on the bench in a promotion hopeful season?

Then again I may be totally wrong as I don't know either and I am just pissing in the wind like you.

£15 million for Fletcher or half of that for Rhodes.A no-brainer for me,and we could use the spare money for a quality left-back!!

Rhodes and Olsson would suit me more than Fletcher but I don't think we'll go all the way to 15 for him.

Cest you truly are a horrible obnoxious individual , this is supposed to be about debate , banter and a bit of fun between a bunch of lads all with the same interests, and you constantly hammer it with poisonous personal insults . I make a simple reply to one of your posts reference a figure that was banded about in all the national press and your reaction as always is completely over the top, you without doubt represents everything that is wrong with "our game"

Can't believe people would rather pay 8 mil for a player whos only played in the third tier of football than 12 mil for someone whos scored 30 goals in three seasons in the top flight. I'm ****in baffled i really am.
