I would have preferred a 'name' with a proven track record at our level or better to go straight into the first team in place of Nyatanga, but have to assume Del is in the know and that this is one for the future...
'We don't know nothing about him' Presume Celtic do. Nothing like the Caulker loan. He went Yeovil, us and then Swansea whilst retained by Spurs.
Where in the statement do I say, it's like the Caulker deal?? I said WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HIM, MIGHT BE ANOTHER CAULKER, FINGERS CROSSED. And Celtic might do, but so does Willy McStay. But hence the fingers crossed statement
Who gives a **** if it's a big name or not?! Seems to me that now the Olympics are over loads of people have turned into grumpy ****ers again. I would assume he's not on massive wages like a 'big name' would demand, he's strong, fit, easier to develop into the kind of player we need, and he's keen to make an impressive. Best of luck to him I say. And I agree would be great if he turns out similar to Caulker.
Why is there nothing on bcfc.co.uk about this new recruit? Or do they not bother to announce youth team signings. And just like they do not bother to update the under 18's results on the academy page. Last season no results posted after about February! So much for the big noises about our revamped Academy.
