I'd have him in a fanny hair but would he come and if he did at what price? £100k per week?

I don't think he would come with any vision beyond January or at the very longest a move south in the summer and we'd be no better off this time next year. As much as he is a perfect striker, he isn't a much travelled from London one and I don't want any half arsed commitment AGAIN from our signings.

Razor blades and warm bath time again?

My point is even if he signed he would be looking to move away as early as January.

I honestly don't know why Spurs are even putting him up for sale. He is 10 times the striker that Adebayor is and wouldnt cost £200k per week.

    Really not in the mood.

We have been sold down the river yet again.

Last day of the transfer window? Read DeFoe for Flo
    Read Fletcher for Stewart.

    We are going down.

For Christs sake get a grip Bobby. We are nowhere near a relegation threatened squad. That team is an unspectacuar mid table plodder one that with 3 or 4 key additions could easily be top 8. We have a bloody good manager and some canny players.

In the hands of a plum like Bruce they were crap. MoN averaged 1.4 points per game with the same players. We are well capable of 46 to 47 points with that team as it stands.

You are confusing the likes of Stewart and Flo and the management abilities of a Mick Buxton in error, for better players like Sess, McClean, Larsson, Catts and a bloke like MoN.

You are normally a bloke with some backbone lad and a bit of common. What have been sniffing?

Love your comments and contributions. Mutual respect.

    You happy right now?

Craas buy Anita. We were supposedly in for him.

We aren't mentioned anywhere because there is no news. We aren't buying, but we might sell!

My only comfort is that perhaps at last the youth team will bring some class through!

    Oh dear.

No I'm not happy about no breakthrough yet but I know its not for the want of trying. There is ample time yet to get players in though. Who said we were in for this Anita exactly? I've never read one article from Mon, or listened to one interview with him where if has mentioned the lad. I have read loads of fans internet sites that have mentioned it though? See where I'm coming from there?

We have a squad that can cope but won't be top 10 maybe, or maybe they will but we are certainly not relegation fodder.

That's what upset me with your tone kidda. You and me have both seen too much ****e over the past 38 years or so and this squad is like Brazil compared to some of those.

I want new faces but I'm still ecstatic we have Mon organising things these days too.

In 2002 we also were not a relegration threatened squad but look what happened, we have to stop kidding ourselves. we had a poor run in and pre season, and the defeat at Hartlepool says it all if that had happened to Arsenal Wenger would have been sacked!. What i worry about is near the end of October after we play the mags, if we lose that MON could be out like reid (went the same month), it is following the same pattern, one player in a defender etc etc.

Guys we must remember that although we are fans. The club will only inform us of a change if it happens. On all the gossip not once has our club come out and said "we are after that player" it has always been the other team, wolves, Blackburn have both gone public, as did Saha this morning.

We are a professional club and will do business the correct way. I admit, it's bloody frustrating at times but it's the right way to do business.
