My reasoning: they will hang tight with a lot of teams, and perhaps even steal draws against teams they have no business stealing draws against, but staying up these days is largely a product of one's ability to generate wins...something they did very well last year (no team had fewer draws, and they tied Blackpool for the most losses among the top six), but I'm not convinced that they'll score enough to pick up wins against the bottom half. Similar in that vein to Villa last year.
I think Villa will do better than a few of you think. They suffered big time from the losses of Bent and Petrov. Lambert has already made a few astute signings... Personally I am prety confident that they will stay up.
It's very difficult to decide until Sep 1 when all the clubs have made all their summer signings, at this stage I would suggest this 1. Manchester City 2. Manchester United 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool 5. I really feel that Stoke will have a mare this season. Have backed Pulis toi be first out. Think he has had his time now.
I'd ordinarily not do this until 1 September, for obviosu reasons. But what the hell... Man City Man Utd Chelsea Spurs Liverpool Arsenal Everton Newcastle Villa Fulham Stoke QPR Norwich Sunderland West Ham WBA Southampton Swansea Reading Wigan
Thought I'd give this a bump considering we're over half way through the season. Looks like Swansea and west brom were underated with Newcastle vastly overrated!
