It was before they was dissolved but the point still stands that the size of the stadium doesnt always mean you will fill it
Most of the younger ones probably will. I've seen most films that have that status across time and I only knew that one because of the Wayne's World parody.
i dont mind 12.30 kick offs, lets you get home or to the pub watch the other results filter through and leaves plenty of time to get ready to go out, its 17.30 and friday night kick offs i dont like...
No they'll stay overnight Friday, I work where most teams (inc. Leeds) stay. That way leeds have full control of what food the players are eating and what time they get to bed. It's fairly standard even if it's a 3pm kick off and no matter how local the team is (Doncaster for example)
Great news for me. Gets me out of the outlaws lunch plans. Never thought it would stay as it was planned. So why was this game scheduled for the date then ? Blame the FL fixture folks for it. Both games should have been played on a tuesday night.
I really do despair of some of our fans. If they can't see that the police altering our kick offs for no reason other than the fact that they like to throw their weight around with the football club and it's fans than you have to wonder how long they have been fans if they don't consider 3 o'clock kick- offs the traditional kick-off time. As for thinking it is OK because you can get NME to watch the other results.. I don't think some of these people went when things were done properly.
Why should they have been played on a Tuesday night? Other police forces manage to cope with the arrival of 2,500 Leeds fans on a Saturday without going into a panic. Not our incompetent lot of course. How would the usless lot have coped years ago when you got a lot more arriving at Boothferry and there was actually a lot of trouble?
