From ITV Spot report (Thanks MAJR) Portsmouth FC is the lifeblood of the fans and the city, and we ask all supporters of the club, the people of Portsmouth and football as a whole, to support the work of the Pompey Supporters Trust, in their continued efforts to secure its future. Pledges are still wanted, and both these and donations can be made via www.pompeytrust.com SOS Pompey intend to hold a peaceful demonstration of our pride in our manager and players before this Saturdayâs game against Bournemouth at 2.15pm at the gates of Fratton Park, and we ask all fans to join us in showing how much we appreciate the work of the manager and staff of our magnificent club. On behalf of those of us who can't be there, I urge as many of you as posible to attend this demonstation of support to Appy and the boys. Let's be realistic by Saturday we are unlikely to have a club, the PST can't takeover without getting an agreement with Chanrai, we can' t sign any players and at this stage we can' t promise to fulfill our fixtures. I think the football league will pull the plug on us.
Michael Appleton has been keeping the club together single-handedly. I am sure when the time is right, he'll end up at a top 10 Premier League side. Let's just hope he'll stay with us for the time being .. He will always be a legend, due to his calmness at whatever is thrown at him, and his respect for the fans
Not true my friend. The disagreement will be over BC charge on Fratton. Fratton will be sold at market value which has been put between 2-3 mil by independent marketers. PST offered 2.75 mil. If the 2 parties cannot come to an agreement, then TB can take the matter to court, which goes back to the market value of the ground. In short, if BC is smart he'll take the 2.75mil now and run.
