    Anyone go? Thoughts?

I'm pleased we're off and running. Happy Jewell picked a first 11, sets us up more so for the Blackburn game than reserves then a switch around.

I heard Luongo had a good game, I make that 5 games 5 good performances from the lad!

I thought Jason Scotland was superb all night. He led the line held up the ball and showed great skill around the box. Him and Chopra will score loads playing together. Martin looked good out wide when he took the defence on as did JET who still is the most frustrating player. Touches of brilliance then so many times no end product.
Chopra deserved so much more for his hard work. Soft penalty kick though. Just hit it hard!!
Hyam and especially Luongo (Me and my son now have shirts with "Massi" on) is going to be a very productive and exciting midfield pairing.
Tommy Smith has returned a very smooth and accomplished looking CB whether this is the calming influence of Chambers rubbing off. Time will tell when we play bigger and better teams.
Bring on Blackburn there are some very good signs.

Dont know which is correct but Radio Suffolk said last night that there wasnt any seedings and we could get anyone other than the teams competing in Europe, who will not enter until the following round.

Long time no see! I've been hiding out in the Ecuadorian Embassy because the Americans are after me...

    Hope you are all well.

Good result last night. How good is Massimo Luongo?!!! The next Gio methinks.

    That is all.

Cheers Warky. Nah, I'm sure I can stay around and make a nuisance of myself for a while!

Forum works much better on my new phone, so I can dip in and out to impart my pearls of wisdom more freely.

Nuff respect to the Pirates fans for travelling over last night. It's a long way and a terrible journey. Their goal was supersonic BTW!

Are any other old 606ers on here? Missing the banter from the likes of Spanish and some of the budgie bawbags.

    All the breast :p

Naxos has disappeared probably shacked up with some frauline in Dusseldorf! Spanish is still around though! Ciderman puts in an appearance from time to time and yes we still get our favourite Budgie trolls popping in!

Enjoyed the game last night . nice to get a few goals altho a bit worrying when they got the first . My man of
match went to JS but between him and massamo with scotlands goal clinching it . glad he re-signed . Very very impressed with massamo and will go so far as saying IMO better than Gio by quite a bit . thoughts

    coyb .

ps as much as i rate chops he should be sacked from taking the pens . JET should take them . Even if the keeper gets to it both will end up in the back of the net

Welcome back Hawkings. Hampy, Guru and I (ipswichinamsterdam) are still about, although I've moved to the states. Jas099 is on twtd and the rest have fallen away.

    Cheers San Diego.

Sorry to see that some of the old gang have absconded. Maybe they too are in hiding from the feds...

BTW, I'm reliably informed that San Diego means "a whale's fangita" :-D

Think you'll find it means Saint Diego, Hawkings, maybe it has another meaning too though.
What are you on the run for, or is it a joke I don't get?

Just reread your post. I'm wanted by the FBI over some trumped-up charge to get me extradited for setting up wikileaks and telling the world all the US government's secrets (spy cameras hidden in Krispy Kreme donuts, GPS enabled anti-ageing face creme, etc). I've been hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy but had to leave as their wireless internet speeds were so slow I couldn't maintain my website.

I urged them to speak to Sir Dicky (Branson) about getting a deal on Virgin Media, but they were having none of it. Said something about his Virgin Galactic jets ruining the fragile ecosystems of their country and that, as a race, the Ecuadorian people mistrust people with goatee beards.

Didn't stop them from having some fabulous courtyard barbeques though. What those guys can't do with a chicken breast, some ginger and a dash of chipotle frankly isn't worth knowing.

My old pal Marcus has set me up with a house in Ipswich for the time being, so I've renewed my season ticket and will be hiding out in the famous East of England Co-operative Stand.

So basically not much going on really. Anyone else having any similar issues?

    Much love,

    Julian Assange, AKA, The Hawk
