    Hi guys,

I'm coming over with a few lads for the weekend. Never been out in Newcastle before, but I think the whole world knows how vibrantly spectacular the nightlife is supposed to be.

So for a group of lads, ranging from 20-24, hitting the Toon, where would the best places be to go?

Also, howay the lads! Let's knock six shades of grey out of Wales' new 'Ronaldo'!

The Gate is good on match days before and after the game! Range of bars there! Sam Jacks (part of the complex) is always a great laugh with the football too. If you want a little more of an "up market" start - begin on Osborne Road in Jesmond. Especially useful if you will be staying in that area! Enjoy!

You can go just about anywhere and have a good time. Loads of places to go and always in full swing. The Bigg Market is always a good stopping off place and you can always just follow the crowds of regular revellers.

From what I've seen, casual's fine. As long as you're reasonably clean (and I'm sure you are) there shouldn't be a problem on any account.

If you like classy world beers head to Tilleys at the end of Stowell Street.
From there a brief trip to Shark club http://www.sharkclubs.co.uk/social-hub-events ....
Before heading via Shearers and then the bigg market down to the Quayside...
Good news is its downhill all the way!

Sounds good! I've heard Diamond Strip is a decent spot. Could be pricey though?
