Well seeming as Burton still hasn't got International Clearance yet, my prediction is looking pretty grim already
I feel that I've seldom felt less ready for a new season - no summer worth talking about, the distraction of the Olympics, and sorting out son's university / finances / holiday (!!) and summer job - well he did that eventually, but after much nagging. Anyhow, very promising start last night, and generally good news reaching these Northern parts from East Kent (McCammon notwithstanding). Saw both games against Bradford last season, but like Gills their personnel has changed significantly during the summer, so what happened last year can't really be used too much as a guide for this match. Gills will need to keep an eye on Gary Jones who achieved god-like status for his performances at Rochdale, not without sound reason. Nevertheless, based on last night's excellent result, and the news of generally good vibes coming out of the club, I'm hoping for a flying start to the season and Gills 3-1 Bradford (Kedwell 2, Jackman, Reid)
