On the contrary, Ive no rela problem with Harvey. He is a Bates employee, albeit a high profile one, and therefore would have had his hands tied. Wouldnt mind him getting a chance at ceo with a lot of the financial constraints removed by new owners. After all, no one knows the behind the scenes stuff better than him
Re the takeover done rumours, think all the £38m/honorary life president stuff is bullshit, but someone on WACCOE who BIG backed up as being ITK has said it's agreed again but not signed yet. I would assume we won't end up in the same limbo as last time as a compromise has clearly been reached which both parties are happy with.
Harvey didn't have to help facilitate the looting of our club,lie to and insult it's loyal supporters. The wages of sin were undeniably good. He even banned BIG from buying a tickets to support the club! He got Paid more than most of his peers for unprecedented on-field failure and the pissing away (or much worse) of unprecedented unbudgeted income. He has worked only in the interests of Ken Bates and against LUFC and it's players. hes now trying to change his tune as the Bates ship is sinking as he probably doesn’t fancy going back to his post round. As far as I am concerned both Harvey and Lorimer should hang there heads in shame for what has happened the for the last 8 years. I know Bates pulls the strings but there is a certain amount of blame rests on Harveys shoulders and I would like all the current board out of the club so we can all move forward together.
If thats Boozie he is a lawyer for a firm who I believe is involved with the deal. His info has been reliable so far and is about the only person who claims to be ITK I trust. Maybe theres some kind of deal to keep Bates on in some kind of capacity for two years as a non executive so he can dodge the 2 mill tax bill heading his way? Or a promise of a payout if we hit the prem within those two years? Lets just hope he releases control soon at the very least so the team can move forward

This is true. I wont be topping myself if Harvey stays on but would be more happy with a complete clean break from the old Board. Dont know where this leaves Lorimer anymore but hes burnt his bridges as well

I'd personally like them all out and have a fresh start too. I'd lean towards the argument that Lorimer is the most dispicable of the three. We all knew what Bates was like... there was no surprises there with all his lies, manipulation and court cases. It was also soon evident that Harvey is just Bates' lap dog, nothing else and he never hid that really. He'd back papa smurf to the hill... he's left it too late to put any other slant on it. Lorimer had this pretence that everything he did was LUFC motivated, he was so out of touch with the fans and the reality of why we were disgruntled. It disgusted me that someone that we fans used to look up to so much, as having white blood coursing through his veins, stooped to the lows he did. Someo fhis YEP articles just enraged me. And I would have appreciated that Harvey has been here so long he knows the club inside out, however, he's done nothing but breed bad habbits and bring failure to the club in his own capacity. As long as we don't bring someone in who knows sweet fa about running a club we will do a lot better, a new era and a new way of running the club is needed imo
The fee for Snoddy was 1.5M up front and question marks that his asset value was only £750K if the T/O is still on NO WAY is Bates going to over invest into the squad. It seems that Snoddy's asset fee £750k was used up on Peltier I don't see it myself, we have a far smaller squad than last season? 26 in total and that includes Diouf - When you add up those that have left they outnumber those brought in last time I counted
Diouf will be paid peanuts, apparently - or so that's the implication of NW. We have lost Snoddy's wages, they will have been a fair amount (not as much as if he'd signed, of course). I believe AOB was on a ridiculous wage and we have also got rid of Howson, Clayts, Billy etc so unless we've signed the new additions on stupid wages then I don't see much of a wage structure change tbh. We're lighter on numbers than last season anyway and if we did pay a couple of players a bit more, we're still on sync.... I could be wrong but that's the way it appears to me, I'd gladly eat my words if I'm proved wrong
If you really believe that Bates is going to spend 100% of the money we get for Snoddy. Then Iâm sorry to say it, but then you are a bit naïve. You have to remember that Bates has already tide up a lot of the future money in his projects And he has always said on numerous occasions that the facilities, hotels etc. will come first, players will come last
