Just sitting watching Sheffield Weds vs Oldham, to be fair Oldham look very decent and SW have come back into it, but on Coral they are offering season match bets between teams, we are 4/5 to beat SW over the season, seems like free money to me.

If you can't find it on Coral type 'season match bets' in their search

My 5 team bet went down on Saturday.

Got 4 right and one wrong.

Sheffield United was a banker at home to Burton Albion .

    Or so I thought ..

After years of betting on football I have come to realise there is no such thing as a banker. <ok>

Very true ' We Are Hull '

Biggest cock up I made was maybe 3 seasons ago when I included rangers in a 9 team acc .

    Rangers 1/16
At home to ST Johnstone who were bottom of the SPL and had not won away .

    Rangers lost 1-0.

Teach me to be greedy + dumb enough to include a 1/16 shot in my usual £10 Saturday acc.

I would have won over 2k that day if
    Rangers had won .

Best win so far was just over £380

Still I stick to one £10 bet on a Saturday and a couple of wins can cover a seasons Saturday bets..

Usually manage to break even over a season .

It also shows those who boo when city lose to a so called easy team there's no such thing as an easy game that we can't lose..

I have no idea about these multiples and never use them, you get round robin, lucky 9, doublestakesabout and loads of silly names which I haven't a clue about any of them, specially as they all multiply your stake about 50x and a £1 accumulator always sees better profits, very stupid. Why would I risk £50 for a £200 return when I could risk a quid for £300 return, mind boggling.

I just stick to accumulator and single.

City are 18/1 to win the league with a plus +18 handicap. Worth a punt IM0

Anyone fancy Wembley FC to win the FA Cup at 5000/1?

After the way they played against Langford Town, not a chance and they need to clean the place up, there was Seamen in the stands on Saturday.

Only Parlour, Le Saux, McBride and Caniggia played though. They still have Keown, Haibo, Dichio and Moreno to come.

They should be at least 100,000/1

Might be worth 2 quid and if they get though a few rounds and laying it off on betfair when the odds drop. Though not for me.

To be fair, I'd say Wembley FC at 5000/1 is a better shout than say, Barnet at 1000/1. At least Wembley FC have a quirk that makes them exciting outsiders, plus they could still bring in a few more.

For the record, I too don't think they'll win it, I just hope they get the chance to play a half decent team along the way.

Because you don't need them all to win so one team losing doesn't cock it right up.

But don't forget that's not to finish within 18 points of the top side, that's to finish top after all teams have their handicaps added, which means finishing 15 points clear of a 33 point team.

Yes agree, especially as an each way as you get the 1-4 places

    EDIT:
Other teams I've plonked money on:
    Halifax FC - Promotion
    Rotherham/Fleetwood - Promotion
Crewe - 'Coral mini league C'
    Peterhead - without Rangers
    Spurs - 'Coral mini league'

With a few Reading for relegation, MKDons for promo, also Swindon, Aldershot in the handicap
but we are the best odds still as a season match bet between Shef Weds for me 4/5
