Thought you guys were quite impressive in the first half and both our goals came against the run of play I thought. We did seem to have an easy time of it for the goals as your defence was a bit poor but at the end of the day we have some good championship players in attack but if you play like that this season then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. 4 zip did flatter us to be fair and we did get the decisions. Well done on the support though, most championship clubs would struggle to make your numbers. Have a good season.
Your outlook doesn't look too promising, though. We have played 4 "in the mix for promotion" Championsip teams, all playing as near as possible to their first picks. Leicester were the only ones that we beat and even made to look extremely ordinary in the second half.
The bbc commentators said the same about your defenders for the first 25mins! Admittedly those two defenders hadn't played with each other before, one has regularly played at RB and the other is on a youth loan.

someone on the leeds boards posted "if the shrews had gone 2 up in the first 20 minutes there would have been no complaints" this illustrates either shrews were unlucky or more likely a bit thin up front possibly. do we need another striker or better service for our strikers? i suspect our first league game may confirm some of shrews problems up front and in goal. floreat salopia!
Obviously a clinical striker would be lovely, but I really cannot see Turner bringing one in - we've always spread the goals throughout the team under Turner.
The difference between the two sides was finishing - true, we had a few wobbles at the back, but so did Leeds - we need someone to hit the back of the net when they are gifted a chance. Let's hope GT can work his magic in the loan market or get Tom to make this season the start of a glittering career.
the real question is how many 4-0 reverses will the wobblers suffer? they had a combine harvester full last season. so what's changed
