There will be more arriving than people expect by the end of the summer. 2 or 3 players are not going to change anything unless there Puyol, Xavi and Messi, we need 6 or 7, I'm glad MoN is after a left back and hopefully we are after Martin Olsson, he would be perfect for us, as for elsewhere I think a CM who offers something different is needed maybe N'Zonzi but maybe it might be going for someone abroad who has something different to there game, need someone who can create things IMO and we currently dont have that. IMO we need two wingers, if McClean gets injured we are screwed, Johnson and Phillips would be class and definately need 3 strikers! Fletcher, Guidetti and Kone for me! If we get 3 I wouldn't be surprised if we do a straight swap offering Campbell for Olsson, its no secret Blackburn want Campbell.
Id say this thread is different to no need to merge. This is from the horses mouth. Could we benefit from a bad pre season and end up strengthening where Mon might otherwise think we were ok. If it all comes off I expect 2 strikers - Fletcher and a loan left back - hopefully Olsson winger - Matt Phillips Centre mid - Nzonzi centre back - Dann if rumours are true Id say 6 may be what Mon is alluding to when he says more than expected
think you could be right there mate, would love a third striker and think it depends on the Campbell to Blackburn rumours and depends on if a player MoN wants is available. If more go though as MoN has said he has told a few of the squad that they can find a new club then 1 or 2 more could come in depending on who those players are If a CB is on the cards I would hope it is not Scott Dann, he is no different to what we have, can't we go for a classy CB, good pace, good reader of the game and good on the ball, Simon Kjaer would fit the bill, he doesn't have that electric pace like but has the other attributes, seems as though his move to Malaga has hit the wall with there money troubles and when I have seem him over the years and most recently at the Euro's for Denmark I thought he was class!

I would be happy with LB Olsson or Warnock (Prefer Olsson) FWD Fletcher FWD Guidetti (Loan) FWD Saha (Free) MID N`Zonzi WINGER Matty Phillips WINGER Johnson or McGeady (would love us to sign Johnson but I think we will get McGeady) CB I would loves us to try for Samba (not sure about Dann I know nothing about him so I can’t comment but I think we need one)
Samba would be immense for us, I would give him the armband straight away as well, think we will have to wait till January at the earliest though maybe even next summer and we still could be priced out then by his wages, I would imagine Anzhi will be paying him a canny bit Wonder if we could be after Hutton, available for 2m and Bardo is ruled out for a while, I would take him me, think MoN could get him playing similar to how he was when he was here on loan it will be like buses man, wait half hour for 1 and a couple come at once, lets hope as soon as we get 1 a few will follow shortly afterwards
