Just been on my break and picked up a chronicle.

Colo said he will definitely be fit for the Spurs game, and his hamsting problem has turned out to be nothing too serious, and he's working to be ready for the game.

    Phew :)

This news isn't that important, they have no strikers to threaten you defence anyway. <ok>

Never in doubt. Is he skipping the international trip more importantly?

We have a load of reported injuries.

I think Ben Arfa Is just lack of match fitness at the moment. Cabaye sounds just a rumour to me.

The only ones Pards mentioned was Tiote and Colo. Colo will be fit, as he says. Tiote is the only real worry, I reckon.

Ben Arfa wont start I think. Cabaye, I'm not sure.

**** news that, but personally, my plan wouldn't include Ben Arfa starting anyway. Would have been a nice sub though.

    Oh well.

Tiote and Cabaye the biggest worries for me at the moment and reading between the lines cant see either starting on saturday. Expect either Ba or Cisse to be on the bench too and Ben Arfa bench at best.
Its a worry, we do need new signings NOW but of course any signed now would be unlikely to start on saturday or be expected to be settled in properly even if they did.

Bring it on. I'm confident whichever side we get out that we'll give a good account of ourselves. It would be nice to get off to a flyer but first games are notoriously unpredictable. Clearly Colo is important though and we found this the most difficult injury to deal with last season. As I've said many times I think Cheik is a massive player for us when on song. We'll miss him but I do think its an area we can cope with and still get a result. To be fair to Willo I'm sure he'd equip himself well but Colo does tend to have a controlling influence which is hard to replicate.

Benni is a real shame because he's a home game player too. Don't get me wrong I have no problem him starting away but I do think he is the sort who can change the momentum of a home game by getting folk on their feet.

I'm feeling good and looking forward to it now regardless of injuries.

I think there is a good chance with Benni missing.

So let's say disaster strikes and we line up:

    Krul

    Simpson Saylor Willo Santon

    Marv Bigi/Abeid Cabaye Jonas

    Shola Ba/Cisse

That's predicting that 4 of our biggest names will miss out through injury. Still looks like a side that could get a result to me

Indeed though I think Perchino will be ahead of BigiSmalls and Abeid in the pecking order despite their promise.

Have to say i dont think its all doom and gloom but if all of Cabs, HBA, Tiote, Ba and Cisse are out i think we would go 4-2-3-1

    Krul
    Simmo Willo Saylor, Santon
    Perch Raylor
    Obertan Marveux Jonas
    Shola

Not our strongest line up but if we could take a point, with a team along those lines, I'd be happy.
