I disagree with that, I think it can be quite open to a lot of views, admittedly there are some subjects that because the mass opinion is against yours it can feel like that

Can I give you a prize for the most ridiculous title to a tread this year so far?

Eire, out of interest why is this the most ridiculous thread title ever. I was tempted to start a thread of the same name the day he was appointed

I agree with Eire, bloody stupid thread title. Now if we're bottom of the league by Christmas, fair enough, but not now.

I think I'm perfectly entitled to want rid of a manager who has proved himself to be a hypocrite.

I think Warnock has assembled a hell of a squad on a shoe string and should be praised!

Shame we lost Snod, but that was out of his hands and it sounded like he worked his ass off trying to keep him. Back line is solid as is centre midfield. If we keep hold of Rosco he will be a threat again this season, Becchio seems a Warnock type battler, Somma to come back, Diouf could prove a few wrong yet & not to mention we may end up taken over & backed before the window closes or in January or even in the loan market <ok>

I'm not throwing myself off a bridge yet. I can understand peoples feelings towards Diouf but he has a clean slate from me as far as I am concerned.

Still doesn't stop me deciding I don't want us to be managed by a hypocrite. Also I don't share your assessment of the squad.

Totally over the top thats why. We played our first competitive game two days ago using Warnocks own team. Im interested only in results.. When Grayson was caught with his trousers down last summer, I didnt see many calling for him to be sacked at the time. Warnock has explained that at the moment he has no money. I personally prefer to see Diouf than a bunch of loanees no one wants and couldnt give a ****e about us. Youre clearly not in favour of giving anyone a chance if you wanted to start this tread the day Warnock was appointed

I wouldn't want him to be sacked now only because we have given him this much time, may as well let him get settled in and try get promotion. I have my reasons for hating him though

Absolutely fine mate <ok> I understand the points your making and the reasons your making them and I don’t consider myself as a glass half full kind of guy usually, but I still feel we are in with a shout this season & Warnock has made some astute signings

<ok> I don't think that in some way I'm right and everyone else is wrong. I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with Warnock managing us after the way he's acted over this issue, and for me he's not done enough to make me think he's worth sticking with. Of course I could be wrong and we could fly to promotion with Diouf scoring 20 goals and becoming a fan favourite, we'll just have to wait and see.

Unbelievable the number of 'Give Warnock a chance. He hasn't done anything wrong at Leeds' comments.

We lost seven at home to Florist ffs.
He indicated he'd a good chance of getting us promoted last year.
He promised exciting summer signings.

Who have we got? Diouff in, Snograss out.

Get rid of this abomination of a manager before our club is ruined.

Agreed. I don't think he's lied, he obviously wants to get promoted, but all he's done during his time here is play the press well. He's done nothing to convince me he's going to get us promotion this year.

He had Grayson's defence last season!! Judge him on his team and with his track record in this division I'm sure we'll be close.

As for the signings he talked of they were based on the assurances he was given and we know the takeover fell through and may now be back on track.

As for signing Diouf, for the two positions he wanted to strengthen he's a prefect fit and for free I don't think we could have done better than to give him a go.

I'm not saying the signings will get us promotion or that Diouf is the answer but this is the team we have and we don't yet know what we can acheive.

Agreed. Also, regarding Warnock being a hypocrite, there's a fine line between hypocrisy and someone simply changing their mind over comments made in the heat of the moment. Anyone who is against the signing of Diouf based on his past misdemeanors but supported the signing of the racist thug Bowyer is guilty of hypocrisy.
How I see it is that Warnock is putting Leeds United first with this signing, while leaving himself wide open to accusations of hypocrisy. He could easily have sat back and settled with the squad he'd assembled, not listed Pugh and Rogers and said he's no money to do anything else, it's Bates' fault, and if we fail the only person to blame is Bates.
He's made a brave decision bringing Diouf in to fill a problem position for us. As for Liam Lawrence being an option there, he'd probably want wages five times as much as Diouf, and we supposedly have no money, so not really a feasible option is he?

All manages are hypocrites anyway, I'm not fussed about comments he's made about a player in the heat of the moment 18 months ago. Yeah Diouf is a prick, but as it stands he's our prick, and he's not a bad player really. Seem to recall Mancini saying Tevez would never play for Man City again last year, and Balotelli, and look, what a surprise...they both played. Nobody accuses Mancini of being a hypocrite because those two helped them win the league! Diouf might yet prove us all wrong <ok>

Warnock is has sneaky has they come. Will always say what he thinks the fans want to hear. How many lies he told this summer.

1. Business will be done early. Erm No

2. Youngsters arent ready yet, erm why you playing them.

3. Will be building for the future, erm not one signing under 24 and alot older to be grandads

etc etc etc

Now he's two faced with this sewer rat.

Warnock can not be trusted, he's shaft the club for a couple of extra quid.

Would I sack him no, but lets stop this warnock got principles balls

Of course Bates is the main problem here but I can understand the frustration regarding Diouf. He's a horrible character and I don't want him wearing the club shirt. I'd feel the same if we signed someone like Marlon King. Football's not just about winning, it's about having pride in your team and I can't feel pride seeing Diouf in our colours. My other problem is the message it sends out to our younger players. Why not give a game to Joe McCann or Simon Lenighan if we're short of players? Would they really be any worse than an old lag whose team got relegated from the Championship last year?

Has anybody thought that Warnock is having to make the best of a bad job. He was shafted by Bates early in the summer and said that he was on the verge of leaving. He then got to meet the new owners and liked what he saw and heard, so stayed on thinking the deal would be done before the window closed. it then drags on leaving him short, and to cap it all because the deal is still not done Snodds decides to go because he's not sure its happening. Warnock has approaches from other clubs and knocks them back. He wheels and deals to bring in new players promising 'icing on the cake' signings, only to see the deal collapse. he's fooked and so he he gets us the best he can afford, even if he has to swallow shyte because of his own Diouf comments.

I'll slate the bloke if we are struggling a few games in and not before.

Grayson didn't even get half the quality of some of these signings and Warnock has just the same budget, and he's not bothered about getting rid of garbage
