Just for the record, I wish Joe all the very best at Anfield, but the agreement we had was not honoured by Rodgers, and for that, he will not get my good wishes, the whole tapping up saga has left a bitter taste in the Swansea fans mouths, and Rodgers will not get a warm welcome when he comes back to the liberty. It's all water under the bridge now, and while I can see some views on here that £15 Million should soften the blow, and we should be able to pick up an easily good replacement in Spain, then the question must be asked, why didn't your scouts pick up one of these cheap Spanish gems?

The fact is as I see it, we have lost a great player, and one of the very best at the liberty, and I'm sure I don't need to mention how well he played against your Lucas last season!! There's no doubt in my mind we are going to struggle this season without Joe, and while we have brought in a (temporary in my view) De Guzman from Villarreal, on loan, having watched him over two games, but especially against Stuttgart yesterday, he's not a patch on Joe!! So the point is this, yes there are these talented players in Spain, and elsewhere, but how many will make the step up to the cut and thrust of the Premiership, and that is our problem, now that Joe has gone. Unless Laudrup pulls a quality midfield general find, then we will struggle big time this season. Our passing and Possession game, is based on the strength and fluidity of our midfield, and Joe had a special partnership with Leon Britton, that was unique, and it will be some shoes to fill, from who ever we find, but anyway that's our problem, no bitterness from me to Liverpool, or it's fans, but yes we will really miss young Joe and those scousers, who don't know what all the fuss is, well you'll soon find out when he starts running your midfield!...............

I understand your frustration mate but if the guy is as good as said, if Liverpool had not taken him someone else would have so it is wasted bitterness in the end, best to move on, it is always a bitch to lose good players, we know that well of late, I am not talking of Brigette Nielso.. I mean Fernando Torres

You're talking about signing a cheaper replacement from spain, i'd try Isco from Malaga. Only 8 million and would suit your passing style of play. Plus he's very young.

It does undermine the credibility of the source a wee bit when the site has a banner ad begging for contributions at the top, and a disclaimer at the bottom saying the piece is purely the opinion of the writer.

It's basically saying "Can you type? Chuck anything you want on the paper and we'll use our site to try and give you some credibility!"

Credibility? It is not a speculative transfer rumor. Besides, I would imagine that there are many members of the public who are more capable than a lot of journalists anyway.

The point is, sometimes when a player joins, a section of fans are unsure, and in his opinion Joe will win them over in time.

I would say that will prove to be a fairly accurate assessment, but only time will tell.

Isco could play for Barca or Madrid in a few years, I doubt he'll be heading to Wales.

Talking of Malaga I would've liked to see us go for Salomon Rondon. Went for £10m to Rubin Kazan, sure we could've matched that.

I agree on Isco, he's a massive talent, there'll be bigger clubs in for him than Swansea (no disrespect intended there)

Not too sold on Rondon but I haven't seen much.

Isco could be huge, would love him at Anfield.
