I promised to post this fascinating research document a while ago.

After losing the battle to find a format that this file could be posted in, here's a link that will take you to the Google search page for the document, which then has to be downloaded and saved. It's the first page shown.

It's a fine read, but occasionally falls into the trap of applying current attitudes and thinking to historic events.

    Enjoy.

Yes Tewkes, many thanks. Have skimmed over it, but will make it my bedtime reading tonight.
I actually bumped into Colin Viljoen when i walked into his pub in Uxbridge when i was working in Uxbridge some years ago - he was a good player.

I have also met Mark Fish THREE times, first time was when he signed his book for me in the club Superstore, the second when i bumped into him in Leeds when he wascoaching the Kaizer Chiefs youth team
when they played Leeds youth team as part of a tour. The thrid was when i literally bumped into him in a Supermarket in Paarl , Cape Town, near his home at the time. I think he thought i was stalking him ! Nice guy though, he remembered me (although maybe he was just being polite !)
