OI mate, been on your hols or what, you didnt apply for a leave of absence, was starting to think youd changed your name, unlike a few folks, I like your football related points, and normally quite astute and to the point. but now that we are at another stage of this site, and the trolls are getting to be dominant. Question is should I tell you to **** off our board.? NAH, **** the trolls. keep posting mush.

Hahahaha I thought it meant you were an opinionated gobshite!

In all seriousness I echo Bills thoughts. You're sound, if a little stubborn, as long as you stay away from Cest.

Hello Bill. I hope you've been well.

Seems like both our groups of fans on Not606 have decided to eventually split off to form separate forums. Was it a matter of time all along? Perhaps.

80% of the Newcastle fans who were once on here split off onto our own forum.

Now it seems like a few folk on the Sunderland forum have decided to do it too.

Why did your lot leave? You don't get as many mackem trolls (use this word lightly, a lot of it isn't quite trolling) as we get mags do you?

it was mainly the general chat lot with Gary Speed.

problem is our lot are not very good at wumming over there, or they wum and it comes back to bite them in the ass, 4-0 down to Arsenal at half time, post by one of ours, you are heading to the championship, full time 4-4 great comeback egg on his face, another we got Everton in the cup, we are going to wembley and Europe, Newcastle wont get anything, egg on face big time. So they do get them, difference is, our team cant rub it in their faces like theirs do to ours.

We got far worse. We got trolls from the General Chat section. They were coming over posting sick shock pictures and making jokes about the likes of Gary Speed. Mick wasn't doing anything about it as they were here before all us lot from 606 arrived, so we had enough and decided to go our own way.

Don't forget though Chappaz, some of ours brought that on by expressing outrage about posts on GC. If they had kept their nose out we'd never have had the response from GC. Yes some might not have agreed with the Speed stuff, but I never saw the same sort of outrage about their 1000's of other posts of a similar nature. At the end of the day people have and always will make jokes (some sick) about dead people. Particularly famous ones. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't laughed at some of the Jacko and Whitney jokes I got.

Some of it was a mass over reaction.

Agreed, seem to remember a fair few Newcastle posters on here joining in with making Amy Winehouse jokes when she died. The famous saying "People Who Live In Glass Houses Should Not Throw Stones" comes to mind.

Not defending the GC lot but it wasn't as one sided as some on here claim.

So it would seem CTR's mere presence is as detrimental to a forum as making jokes about dead people.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry for the poor lad.
