It would seem Leeds have signed El Hadj Diouf, or at least that's what a vast amount of sites are stating. If this is true than I have to say Warnock has gone down dramatically in my estimations, especially after what he said last year.
Guys, have you never seen 'The Godfather'. It is business, not personal!! Nevertheless also disappointed.
According to the Leeds board Dyer is training with them as well. Although seeing as he is playing for us today this seems unlikely. Warnock worked a miracle for us in dreadful circumstances. But this doesn't surprise me at all, dignity and consistency have never been his strong points. Sat close to the dugouts at the Emirates last season and he kept up a 90 minute barrage of foul mouthed abuse towards the officials. An embarrassment and a nasty piece of work himself.
After what Paddy said about 'that c### Diouf getting whats coming to him'......I'm sure the Leeds dressing room will be full of calm and tranquility
dear oh dear. I thought Warnock was better than that - he should be going nowhere near Diouf. I wonder what Kenny is thinking. And Dyer is playing for us today, so not with Leeds.
Doesn't really surprise me where Warnock is concerned. But I would have thought Leeds were above this, with them being MASSIVE and everything!
I have completely lost all respect for warnock! Where are his morals? Diouf is exactly what he called him in jan 11, a sewer rat
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19225390 Story confirmed.... Leeds sign sewer rat... El Hadji Diouf joins Leeds United on non-contract terms Leeds United have signed forward El Hadji Diouf on non-contract terms, less than 18 months after manager Neil Warnock compared him to a "sewer rat". The Senegal frontman, 31, joined in time to be on the bench in Saturday's League Cup tie with Shrewsbury. In January 2011, then-QPR boss Warnock was furious with Blackburn's Diouf for allegedly abusing Jamie Mackie when the forward was down with a broken leg. Diouf left Doncaster in the summer following their relegation. He has also played for Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland, Blackburn and Rangers.
Has Diouf joined Leeds or has Warnock joined the Sewer Rats?! ...thought we Brits were supposed to appreciate a bit of irony!!
Lee cook aint happy about it on twitter...wonder what our squad and mackie in particular are thinking about it
C'mon, how can anybody be surprised? This is football, where today's hate figure is tomorrow's hero and Vicky Vurky. There are very few consistent standards in the game. It's about winning at all costs. Why wouldn't Colin sign Diouf? He signed Barton last season. For him, it is about who he can sign that can do a job for him. What's happened in the past is largely irrelevant. Warnock is at a different club, so does not have to incur the wrath of Rs fans over this. Seems to be that Leeds United, Neil Warnock and El Hadj Diouf are a 'menage a trois' made in heaven.
