It is getting closer and closer now though, I can;t help but think adding a Tello and Sahin to our squad, after watching them last night, will just give us more depth, dimensions in attack, speed of play, etc.
I think we still need more options upfront, especially after bellers leaving. I think Downing needs to be a squad player, and should be looking for a better player for that role. Other than that I'm happy with our starting XI and subs for the most part
Idea will be to whack the ball long to Carol Cole. Then when teams try and play football to them those 2 will be there to break the ball up, pass it back to the defender to whack it up to Carlton Cole again...
Ramirez apparently close to Inter Milan now. Tello, Dempsey, and Sahin I think are the 3 we are going after.
According to the article, Tello would be going to us, though i don't understand why, it's not like we're short of wingers. He would make sense for you, you need someone to get downing off the field.
Tello to replace Walcott? Then you'll only need to replace Song and you'll be going into the season with negative net spend & a squad that's been marginally weakened from last seasons squad. Happy days!
