I hope your right & mean no offence to GC, just worried that its all a Ken Bates / Patrick Murrin game that LUST have walked into. Perhaps Bates and co are just waiting to see who breaks the confidentiality clause to get out of it.... Or maybe they have a rival bid from a Swiss company based in the British Virgin Islands lined up.... Its all so laborious and un-needed with the new season approaching in under 2 weeks!
We would not be making this many signings if the deal wasn't all but finished. bates can't afford to make that many transfer fee signings especially not with fans boycotting.

Obviously LUST aren't gonna know every single detail, they just have one source giving them info, and they are being generous enough to spread it to the fans in reasonable quantities. If they leak everything, they get shot down for compromising confidential info. If they leak nothing, they known nothing and are a disgrace. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Lay off 'em unless you have a proper case to make.
Basically retracted the deals off news that was leaked yesterday. Either he was wrong yesterday or someone has gotten to LUST. Me I think its all part of the negotiation games played by both Bates and Sheikh yawallet. It should all be private till done or dusted.
I think, like you said, that Bates was trying to move goalposts, Sheiks threatened to leave and now it's back on with the exclusivity period. Judging by the info LUST have put out there, without which we'd know nothing and have heard nothing from the club. I know you don't think it's right for them to leak info which one of the parties is openly and liberally giving them, but do you not think it's understandable that they are doing so? GC's said he gets daily abuse, harassment and pressure from dozens of fans to make more statements and give us more facts about the negotiations process. By not releasing stuff which actually could jeopardize the deal and just giving us a vague outline, he attempts to please both parties, but still apparently gets both barrels from both sides. Can you not appreciate that and see that no harm is being done? If it was being, Bates would have ended this and wouldn't be back in talks, would he?
I dont agree. I want the buy out as much as any of you. But LUST is the Camilla Parker Bowles of Elland Road at the minute. In so much as it looks like a horse and the ugly cockney prince is fooking it at every opportunity.
