    My mate had his first flat down there - a few times we heard the local gangsters taking people there to be 'dealt' with. Rough as sandpaper that part of town. That was about 1998 like...

    Moving all the smackheads out the flats that the big houses have been bastardised into would help no end

    Presumably he's going to live in it, he won't have a prayer of getting his money back if he wants to flog it, but good luck to him anyway.

    It's a great building, I pass it every time I leave the KC, it's the one with the big arch and gates into the garden.

    I worked down there in the 80's for about a year when all the landlords were getting grants for doing them up; new garden walls etc. There were some sights down there. One old bloke used to keep his horse in the house!!

    At the other end of the street on the first bend there are a couple of large terraced Georgian looking houses. Went in it once it was like a stately home, the guy must be an art dealer, how he lives there i never know.
