You are seriously blinded by club tribalism.

There's nothing wrong with accepting the club you "support" isn't perfect. No club is

Of course we are not perfect.

You see though, when idiots are trying to justify complete bullshit as a poorly disguised bid to have a dig at United its always best to correct them because if you dont it may cause them problems down the line.

Fergie is indeed a hypocrite on many things, often done to rile opponents tbh. In this case him saying the world has gone mad is very accurate. You wont see it as your club is part of the problem but its very much the case.

For years the same tired bullshit has been directed at United, none of it has any substance yet morons will rehash it on a daily basis.

Some of the stuff aimed at us boarders on the insane, its disturbing that people actually have these views.

    Verratti £10mill, Thiago Silva £33mill, Ibrahimovic £18mill, Lucas £35mill, Lavezzi £24mill. Thats £120mill, am I missing someone?

Anyway, my point is that Fergie can't get high and mighty about spending because he's never shied away from it either.

I'm not debating whether you have more right to spend money than anyone else, just that Fergie having a go at PSG is cheap considering how many times he's broken transfer records and spent big. It doesn't matter how often you've done it or how you excuse it, he's spent loads in the past and will again in the future.

You totally miss the point. We're calling Ferguson a hypocrite, no one cares if you think you can justify Rooney's transfer fee. Fergie said "I find it quite amazing that a club can pay €45million for a 19-year-old boy.", given that he spent a similar amount on an 18 year old that makes him a hypocrite. It's nothing to do with anything else.

Sao Paulo confirmed United's bid to a range of £20-25mill did they? How odd that they'd go out of their way to give an inspecific value of the bid.

They said they have received a bid for 32million euros ( £25million ).

how is 25.6million similar to 35million? theres 10million reasons why its not but how many to say it is?

Oh and I got euros a pounds mixed up, half the fees are reported in euros and half in pounds these days. Ah well, simple mistake but doesnt change the fact we have never spent anywhere near as some have claimed.

Of course he can. Are you saying he is wrong or that he is unable to have said opinion due to him on occasion spending money?

Can no manager ever say theres something wrong when players who have proved nothing go for more than some of the worlds best players?

If this had been a manager of any other club, this wouldnt even have a hread or 7 like it has on not606.

    case closed!

I did, and what? What have you quoted?

compared to £35million its very much **** all, its half.

very few players should ever cost over 30million, very few.

My phone is **** at quoting for some reason, but post #46 was what I meant to quote. You said there's a massive difference between 25 and 35 after saying 17 was **** all before. I was only teasing you.

aye I assumed that would be the point. I agree with you on phones, not for forums lol.

Theres nearly 10million difference every time 17-25-35. Reads like Liverpools record over the past 2 years!

  14. Fear, mate. That's what drives you.

And I don't blame you. It must be terrifying being run down by the mighty Spurs juggernaut. Can you hear the revving of its mighty engine, behind the garage doors? Makes you want to 5hit in your pants, I bet.

It's hilarious how Spurs are the club who win this poll (atm).

On the one hand all we hear is how much better Chelsea are and all that and yet on the other, out of all clubs discussed on Chelsea's page - 99% of posts are Spurs related.

Does make me laugh, I watched UIR get butchered on our board earlier, (I wasnt involved,) and he came here to sulk and justify himself and you all disagreed with him...lol

Anyway, in the spirit of the thread, I DREAM of a situation where all teams exceed expectation and play blinding football and the Liverpool boys come out on top.

Success feels sweeter, when you know you have beaten the best!!!!!

But if I had to wish a team to be taken down a peg or two it would have to be Man Utd... All fans show arrogance when they are winning, and quite rightly the United fans have been arrogant for far too long..... As you have seen with us pool fans over the last few years expectation has dropped, but team support has not.....Twenty years in the cooler for United would be of benefit to everyone...<wizard>
