New Ground update from TF

    The new ground being designed by the Olympic Stadium architects, according to a TF tweet early this morning :

    "They are RT @denzil1882: @tonyfernandes @Amit_Bhatia99 @philipb1 can we get the designers of the olympic stadium to do our new ground? #qpr"

    Hope they do a better job of it than they did with the Olympic Stadium. Part of it has been on fire for the last two weeks and nobody seems to care.

    He is asking IF we can get the architects that built the olympic stadium, not that we ARE using them. Huge difference!

    Wayne F was the man when it came to running the wing couldn't cross his legs though let alone the ball, great quote about him once, can't remember who said it, he's got the legs of a Lamborghini and the football brain of a Lada.

    Populous are one of the worlds best stadia designers. I researched them for my dissertation this time 2 years ago and found many of their projects stunning.

    I didnt like the Olympic Stadium at first, but I have to say it has grown on me after seeing it in the flesh - I now love it!

    Maybe that's why we're targeting the Asian markets, they're all 4'6"! Not sure if they wear girdles though....

    It's back to the Gun Club aka The Linford Christie Stadium..
    Dont mind that too much being an Old Dane and having played there and run up that sand hill in the 60's..
    Handy for visiting relatives in the nick after the game too.
