Agents fee's

That's good, nice to hear after the amount we spent in the PL. Who did we sign majorly last year?

 

You don't pay agent fees for loans, and you tend to pay a lot less to agents if the player is without a club.
Adebola, Basso, Dudgeon, Pusic, McKenna... none of those will have really cost much.

Unfortunately I have a feeling we'll rise far higher this season - Proschwitz agent could have made a tidy sum.

 

What does this mean?

“The amounts disclosed do not include:

a any payments made during the reporting period that relate to transactions completed before 1 July 2011; and 30 June 2012”

Surely, what I have highlighted is irrelevant?

 

I suspect it's a typo. Maybe the word "after" is missing?

 

The solution to agents fees is a simple one. BAN ALL AGENTS FROM FOOTBALL. Over to you Septic Bladder.!!

 

50% of all agents fees should be paid into a retirement fund for "Their" clients .

 

A benevolent fund would be more appropriate.

 

Shouldn't the player pay them?

 

I have just read that Man Utd have agreed a transfer fee of £15m for Van Persie, plus his no doubt extortionate wage demands, but the deal is being hijacked by Van Persie's agent, who is evidently demanding his own fee of £4 million. Chelsea and Juventus have already told him where to go.

You'd think he'd just sack his agent if that was the case.

 

If it's not the absent word suggested already then it's possibly something to do with the transfer window officially opening on 1st July, so deals agreed in June not counting until next year's release, but that would create a contradiction with the July 2011 date.

Agents can be hired to represent the club in negotiations.
