Not at all but you shouldn't as a Moderator slag people off because their opinions differ from yours, which you do a lot on both here and Twitter.
You do realise that the purpose of this forum is for debate? If OLM or any other poster disagrees with another poster's opinion they are entitled to disagree. I can't see that whenever I have disagreed with or questioned an opinion of OLM or anyone else for that matter that people have "gone on the attack"
The original point made was that the OP has the right to call it what he wants as long as it doesn't break any rules, why should anyone tell him what to call it? Nowhere have I said that OLM does not have the right to respond, however as a moderator he should be careful with regards some of the names he uses against posters was my point. As for the attacks etc you only have to look at any Barmby threads to see what I mean. Just because you do not like what someone says does not give you the right to start name calling was my original point ffs
You think being a moderator is a job? I'm just a Hull City fans who posts on a message board and tidy's up from time to time. Get a grip.
Even if Fryatt didn't like Barmby who cares, maybe Barmby was on his case for not scoring in that run of games that cost us in the play-offs
Maybe it was Barmby's fault with his system not suiting our players as was often said on here and other boards.
however as a moderator he should be careful with regards some of the names he uses against posters He shouldn't be careful, he's just posting on a football message board, it's not a profession, there is no moderator rule book, that was my point about it not being a job. Now stick to slagging off Barmby, there's a good chap.
What system would have suited us then out of interest? I think Barmby got the best out of our squad. If anything Matty and the other strikers weren't doing their jobs properly, I noticed he started scoring again as soon as the play-offs were out of reach so maybe the system was OK, perhaps the player was at fault.
Just ride the storm its far more fun. Chill out as the sun is out once again. As for Fryatt-Barmby and tic-tac-toe football,, we all saw the good and bad that came from it. Fryatts after match interview with Burnsy @ Lesta last season was very enlightening as to how Fryatt felt about playing up front on his own. But whilst you could tell his frustrations were there he never gave me the impression he did not like Barmby as a person,, simply his tactics. We know Barmby is stubborn full stop. I did enjoy Barmbys style but at times it needed changing but sadly NB lack of January nous came home to roost. Fryatt will never be a lone striker and needs to feed off a target man. now that i would pay good money to see. Oh i have already, starting with Steve Evans on saturday.
I thought last season that Matty had a bit of an attitude to be honest at times so not surprised he didn't get on with Barmby. Fingers crossed Bruce can keep him happy and he scores consistently throughout the season rather than having a hot run just after we miss the play-off spots.
Somebody not getting along with St. Nick? Surely not! I imagine his promotion was very similar to Gareth's in The Office.
