Its obvious we all love Leeds from near and far. Were all agreed the old bastard must go, just differing opinions on how to get it done. One thing is for sure, if 25 or 30k fans start turning up at Elland Road again, hell go nowhere. Hell have no reason to sell. Hes trying to pull his final swindle at Leeds, dont fall for it

I see your point and I say bollox, show me those fans, as my son would say thats crazy talk !!! we cannot save our club by denying its finances it wont work ! bates would still walk out with millions and we would lose our club, catch 22 Im afraid, I cant see by staying away from Er how it helps ! it puts the team on a downer puts the fans on a downer, and ****s us up even more !!!

Look at AFC Wimbledon, a football club formed by supporters who simply had enough of poor business management by the owners of Wimbledon FC/MK Dons. Leeds is a massive city and will rise again if the club died.

Also look at Glasgow Rangers FC, now New Sevco Glasgow Rangers FC. New owners, no debt and the same 30,000 supporters turning up for games in tin pot cups and Division 3 games. They have players joining them who are simply wanting to play for Rangers, they will very soon be back in the SPL and probably Europe.

Strach wouldn't understand the big picture if it fell on him (on the battlefield). Just keep on paying out to keep Bates at the club <ok> - he doesn't understand that Bates would have to sell up pretty quick this season if the fans stayed away, and that any threat of administration would see Harvey and Lorimer run a mile (or force a change in company direction) because this is the only industry they know anything about and want to stay in it

It's the same type of argument that some people use that "hooligans are just passionate". Wrong, they are just twats.

No-one I know ever claimed grunts were intelligent. I back our armed forces to the hilt but I wouldn't trust many to know the faintest thing about strategy or critical thinking. My views certainly don't change while trying to converse with the likes of you - carry on grunting!

Ken Bates is a businessman first and foremost and as soon as the football club stops supporting itself and making profits he will make a business decision. companies that dont produce profits have to go.<ok> and if he does own ER you will have one massive problem on your hands <yikes>

And if Leeds United shuts down Ken Bates will not shed one tear drop <doh>
dont forget who you are talking about here,,,

It's like try to have a conversation with a whining baby who keeps jumping about and making accusations up out of nothing and nowhere but who certainly won't stick to the topic. You keep on throwing personal insults Strach, it seems it is all you are good at

You just can't help yourself can you. Is there anyone left on this forum that you haven't picked a fight with yet? I don't believe I have ever conversed with another Leeds supporter as contentious as you. What is it in life that has treated you so badly that you feel the need to pick fight after fight with fellow Leeds supporters?

Ristac, he doesn't ALWAYS pick fights with fellow Leeds fans. He only does it when he has his keyboard to hide behind. I bet he was as quiet as a mouse at Preston when he was 'disgusted' at the behaviour of our away support <ok>

Agree with Elmo on this one, but she's being such an unmitigated ****-lip about it that I can't be arsed even having an opinion.

We don't know for sure what's happening either way before the Shrews game. Whether Bates will officially stay, go, or be sat there playing this waiting game. I'm not going to the game, but won't now criticize fans who have had some optimism and hope restored to them by the fact talks have been held and money has been injected.

I don't, however, agree that fans should always blindly go to games without considering whose pockets they're lining. Boycotting is the most effective strategy we have to get what we want as a fanbase.
