What's wrong with some of you?

Not exactly a minority is it? Were they regulars to away games do you know?

 

If you start using your 6 fingers to count with, you should quickly discover that 1000 is a minority of 3000. I know it might be difficult to comprehend a sizeable away support when you could all fit on a sktebooard when you go away but we do travel in numbers. BTW there were nowhere near 1000 causing any trouble. The stand stayed lately full during half time so most were not down stairs. As per usual a couple of dozen idiots started kicking off and everyone else stood and watches them. BTW there is no point taking Elmo as an honest reporter of facts he apparently is just a very poor troll.

 

I've seen a video of it and it's a lot less than 1000. Just for the interests of accurate reporting. And were Leeds fans really kicking off or just doing the standard beer-showering while singing 'let's go ****ing mental' and the coppers saw it as a good opportunity for a little baton charge?

 

As already briefly mentioned - Away fans are only given tickets to league matches if they have a valid membership, one ticket per member. This enables traceability. I haven't seen any reports of this kind of behaviour last season so I would imagine in answer to were they regulars - No

 

I wont retaliate to you snipping, sufficient to say you know exactly what I meant - It was not a significant minority!

I will though offer a tip - if you are going to criticise, at least get your spelling right and sentences formed correctly Back to school for you sonny Jim

 

It does not surprise me that if there was an element trying to cause disruption, that the figure given was blown out of all proportion. These kind of incidents generally are and the problem with them is that they help to fuel the ego's of those involved and the reputation is normally maintained or enhanced.

I know the vast majority of the "proper" Leeds fan base is superb and personally I have never witnessed any real problems with them at games I have attended, either at CR or ER
