Right after 2 days of bickering, I've realised I'm playing a my part in reducing the quality of this forum, along with a few others, so I'm going to lay down some personal ground rules. Sorry to those of you hoping this is a goodbye thread, I'm not going to be going anywhere unless a mod chooses to ban me. I will still comment on threads, however I will not do anymore intentional wumming (except for in cases when I will make it clear I am joking, and I know it will be taken in good spirits). it is impossible to stop people jumping on my back even for reasonable posts, admittedly partially my fault, so I will not ask for that. But from now on, if I am abused for any post, the user will be added to my ignore list, and I will not engage them. Those who don't mind discussing your club with me, I will continue to do so. Those who do not wish to discuss their club with me, will no longer reeceive contact from me as I won't see any of their posts. I hope this is a decent compromise and again, apologies for my part in the debacle (sp?) of the last few days.
I can see why you would want to nick it Syd , it's class, subtle response for anything. Will it offend anyone though?
right. i might not comment a lot, but i read every day. i might be being a tad naive here... but i honestly think any problems that might have arisen on this forum could be just as much down to safc fans abusing well-meant posts by nufc fans, rather than the other way round? seems to me that is what's gone on here at least.
I tend to agree with you mate, however I can't control the behaviour of others, I can control my own. 2 people have been added to my ignore list from my thread, I'm going to make myself as little of a nuisance as I can, can't control what others do.
Read this thread mate, where I'm complimenting Sess, even complimented two Newcastle players. CTR then takes it as a chance to be derogatory about Sess, no valid argument apart from Newcastle won the match therefore negating how good Sess was.
